Spearhead Welcomes French Students
Spearhead recently played host to a group of agricultural students from Normandy, France.
Studying agricultural machinery at their college “CFA du Robillard”, their mission was to learn about the range of agricultural products on offer in the UK, and Spearhead was the first stop-off in their week long visit.
Mark Bayliss – Export Sales Manager at Spearhead gave a presentation to the 13 students on the company and product range, before showing them around the manufacturing facility which gave them insight in to the quality build processes behind Spearhead’s machines. The tour was then followed by a short training session on the Multicut and Twiga product range highlighting the key benefits of these machines.
Mark commented “We were really pleased to play host to the French students and it shows the reputation that Spearhead has, not only in the UK but throughout Europe as a supplier of premium grass cutting and stubble management products used in the agricultural industry.”
After concluding their visit to Spearhead, they were taken onwards to Cirencester and a visit to the Royal Agricultural University, which gave them a chance to meet with fellow students, take part in a field crop walk and the opportunity to discuss current techniques of establishing plant growth.
