Littleport and Downham IDB take delivery of a new Twiga Orbital

Littleport and Downham IDB have recently taken delivery of a Twiga Orbital 836T. This 8.3m reach mower is the first Spearhead machine for this drainage board and will be looking after the water ways and drainage ditches within the 13 thousand hectare area they cover.

Littleport and Downham is one of ten member boards within the Ely Group of IDB’s and has the largest area with 28% of the consortiums total district to cover. The area extends from Denver Sluice, Norfolk in the north down to the Lazy Otter Public House, Stretham, Cambridgeshire in the south with hundreds of kilometres of water ways to cover and embankments to mow.
