National Ploughing Championships in Ireland is one of the largest agricultural events in Europe.

Taking place annually in September, this event features competitive ploughing, livestock displays, machinery exhibitions, and various trade stands. It attracts thousands of visitors from all over Ireland and beyond, providing a platform for farmers, businesses, and the general public to engage with the latest innovations in agriculture.

The 2025 Irish National Ploughing Championships will be held in a new location outside of Ratheniska, County Laois, where it has been held since 2021. The National Ploughing Association (NPA) is currently considering three sites in Leinster, but no venue has been confirmed yet.
