Spearhead Announces Australian Distribution Partnership

In a strategic move to strengthen sales activities in Oceania, Spearhead Machinery Ltd have moved to appoint Fieldquip in a new distribution partnership for Australia.

Fieldquip, a Queensland based company was recently acquired by the Alamo Group, who are also the parent company to Spearhead.

Director of Sales and Marketing at Spearhead, Antony Prince said, “the brand has really only scratched the surface in terms of what it has to offer the Australian farmer, contractor, parks and grounds professional or airport authority.  We are excited by this new distribution partnership and the opportunity that it presents”.

Mark Druery, Sales Manager at Fieldquip commented, “Spearhead is an established brand in the Australian market place and has been marketed successfully here in the past.  It is a product range we had been talking about even prior to our acquisition by Alamo”.

Spearhead Machinery Ltd designs and manufacturers a range of professional reach, rotary, flail and amenity mowers. Products include the self-propelled Twiga SPV with a huge 17 metre reach, the Stubble Master 1210 with a 12 metre mulching width and the Trident 7800HD with 7.8 metres of flailing capacity.

Renowned for innovation, Spearhead is a farmer founded company and exports its product range globally with a particular following in military and aviation operations.  More recently, the company has developed a host of technologies targeted at Stubble Management applications after harvest.
