We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Export Sales Manager to join our team and drive our international sales to the next level.

The Role:

As the Export Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding our presence in international markets. With a strong focus on managing current distributor relationships alongside identifying new distribution opportunities around the world. You must be proactive, self-motivated, and possess a can-do attitude to succeed in this fast-paced and rewarding role. A strong understanding of Agricultural or ground care machinery is a strong advantage, along with some practical knowledge to assist with demonstrations and instals where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distributor Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with the existing distribution network, ensuring they have the necessary support and resources to promote and sell Spearhead Machinery products.
  • Voice of the customer: Assist communications between key customers and other business functions, such as Marketing, Service, Parts, Engineering, etc.
  • Training: Provide product and systems training for customers.
  • Growth: Identification of growth areas for the company including product and new market development.
  • Sales Planning and reporting: Provide clear forecasts and sales plans for all key markets to support higher level company planning.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience: You must have solid experience in agricultural machinery or ground care machinery, sales experience is a great benefit but a passion to learn will be looked on highly.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to build relationships with customers.
  • IT: Strong IT skills are advantageous for written communication, reporting, planning and marketing assistance.
  • Proactive: A forward-thinking, strategic approach to sales, with a proven track record of identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities.
  • Willing to Travel: Happy to travel internationally when necessary to support distributor relationships and drive sales growth.
